CTF Server Rules

1. Purpose

This server is for participating in Capture The Flag challenges and related learning activities only.

2. Fair Play

Participants must solve challenges individually or within officially permitted teams. Sharing flags, solutions, exploits, or hints outside allowed channels is prohibited.

3. Scope of Attacks

Only systems and targets explicitly marked as in scope may be attacked. Attacking server infrastructure, other participants systems, or any external systems is forbidden.

4. No Denial of Service

Any activity that intentionally degrades performance or availability is prohibited, including traffic flooding, resource exhaustion, or abuse of automation.

5. Account Usage

Use only your own account. Account sharing, impersonation, or attempts to access other users accounts are not allowed.

6. Automation and Tools

Automated tools are allowed only when permitted by a challenge. Tools that generate excessive load or interfere with other participants are prohibited.

7. Exploits and Persistence

Do not leave backdoors, persistent access, or modified configurations after completing a challenge. Remove any changes if temporary access was required.

8. Use of Large Language Models

The use of large language models or AI assisted tools for solving challenges is strictly prohibited. Any use of such tools results in immediate disqualification. The purpose of this competition is learning and skill development through personal effort and problem solving.

9. Data Handling

Do not download, publish, or misuse sensitive data that is not part of an intended challenge flag. Treat all discovered data as confidential.

10. Conduct

Harassment, abuse, discrimination, or disruptive behavior is not tolerated in any competition related communication channels.

11. Reporting Issues

Report unintended vulnerabilities, broken challenges, or infrastructure problems to the organizers instead of exploiting them.

12. Enforcement

Organizers may monitor activity, reset challenges, revoke access, or disqualify participants for rule violations.

13. Acceptance

By using this server, you agree to follow these rules and any additional rules announced by the organizers.
